Seasonal produce will be available as an add-on to chicken orders and will vary by availability from July-end of growing season (around October).
Details
Our chickens spend their first 3 weeks in a temperature controlled brooder before heading out to pasture. Once on pasture they are moved onto fresh grass 1-2 times per day to ensure the best quality nutrition and a clean environment.
During this time they are supplemented with a high quality, non-GMO feed.
They are processed by us here on our farm to ensure a low stress, clean procedure. This is crucial to the end product of a tender chicken. High stress = tough chicken. No tough chickens around here!
